The Biggest Blocks Stopping You from Eating Better

Ok, so you want to eat healthier (otherwise you probably wouldn't have clicked this... by the way, I don't take your attention for granted, & I appreciate your trust & time in reading this.)

What's potentially, possibly, maybe getting in the way?

Those pesky little blocks 🧱️ making you trip up in your quest to feel better, look better, perform better, friend?

If you're open to learning some new ways to look at things, read on....

Like most things I teach, it starts with your mindset, i.e. your perspective on eating healthy.

So let me use my magic wand 🪄 (experiosa? luminosa? disappeariosa? Don't kill me, not an avid HP fan 😬) to help you make those disappear...

🧱️ #1: Eating healthy is expensive.

🪄 It depends on your definition of "healthy." If you're thinking organic fresh pressed juices from a "bar" & superfoods in small pretty packages, you're probably right.

But if you're thinking things like fruits & vegetables in season, plant proteins, brown rice, & even frozen chicken breast, you're wrong.

You can absolutely eat healthy while on a budget!

While we might be hesitant to spend $7 dollars on a bag of apples, we'll be quick to spend it on a fast food meal (absolutely no judgment on either, it's just funny how our brains work. I've noticed this in myself as well.)

🧱️ #2: Cooking at home takes too long.

🪄 Let's be real. If we're talking fast food here, it takes time to...

1 (if you're anything like me): choose what you want in the first place,

2: drive to pick it up,

3: wait in line to get it, & then

4: drive back home.

If we're talking delivery, 1 still applies, then you have to wait for it to come.

If we're talking microwave meals, you got me beat, but if time = money, you can use your time to cook cheaper healthier meals.

Again, not bashing any of those options, but there are simple & quick ways to cook healthy meals at home.

Bonus: you can use this time to enjoy a show, or dance to good music, or spend time with loved ones, & connect more with your food.

🧱️ #3: "I don't like ___ [insert food you think is healthy]."

🪄 How you were raised to eat plays a huge role in how you eat today, sans doute. But just like anything, exposure brings familiarity, & familiarity brings comfort, & comfort brings regularity. Ta da!

Maybe it's been a while since you've tried one, or maybe you can try it cooked a different way.

When we shut ourselves off from a total food group, we deprive ourselves of potential positive experiences --&, of course, greater health!

So maybe you hate broccoli, but there are lots of other options to choose from ☺️

🧱️ #4: "I don't know what to eat."

🪄 For most of us, the basics are just right: lots of vegetables, some fruits, (leanish) protein, whole grains, & (less processed) fats.

Eat mostly whole foods, i.e., minimally processed foods. There are lots more that goes into "the best diet" (I talk about it in my program), but know that eating well is actually really simple.

It's the how that can be hard.

...I'll stop my magic tricks here.

But if this was helpful for you, please let me know. What do you find the most challenging about eating more healthfully?

If you'd like to know EXACTLY how to eat for you --not with a template or diet or strict set of rules-- but with comprehensive knowledge & confident skills...
